Renovation Committee -

Committee met on Jan. 23 and decided that defending against further deterioration would be #1 priority and that we need to garner the help of a preservationist who can inspect the building and tell us the order of priorities we should establish; plans were also made concerning the items we would work on this spring. See attached report (in secretary's book) for further details.

Education Committee -

1) Martha has prepared new slides showing the house in its present condition and will intersperse them with our previous slides to make a new program. She will try to gear it more to indicating our need for donations.

2) Martha will be speaking to John Recchiuti's 19th Century U.S. History class at MUC - he is eager to have the students do a project incorporating the Haines Haines. He and Martha will do more planning toward this end. John will join our Education Committee.
