A terrific night celebrating the Holiday season
and the history of the Haines House:

The glow of the Holidays is apparent outside at dusk. The House was all decorated for Christmas and ready for visitors to arrive.
Patty Rickard greeted our guests as they entered. Patty and our Education Chairman, Martha McClaugherty, had conducted a day of training for docents in October. Martha took most of the pictures, so you won't see her in any of them, but her confident presence kept the evening moving along smoothly.
Lindsay Conrad and Patricia Sacha light the lamps that illuminated much of the House. Our Victorian table-top tree is in the corner of the Haines Parlor. The new wallpaper was installed by Dave Walker.
Docents Dorothy Deioma and Betty Domino deftly dressed in the Holiday spirit for our Lamp Light Tour.
Elayne Dunlap introduced a new idea in organizing family histories to our visitors. It's a great way to get kids involved in history, and is a chance to raise funds for the Haines House.
